Beached trawler

The Skeleton Coast of Namibia is renowned for its shipwrecks which continue today despite modern navigational aides.

During a flight in a light aircraft from Swakupmund I spotted this trawler be battered by the Atlantic rollers. I was struck by the contrast in colours between the sea, the breaking waves, the beach and the plight of the trawler in the evening sun.
